Dennis,
Thanks for stopping by. I did a little checking and found a ">postcard Not the same number, though. You might want to check more of Chuckman's postcards. Also, check check this ">post from The Journal particularly the Polk directory. Hope this helps a little!

Hello,

I am a telephone collector and have been contacted by someone that is searching for information about a telephone that they have which they believe to be from the Edgewater Hotel in Chicago. I have found much information about the hotel on-line and know that it was closed in 1967. The phone has a number on it and I'm trying to verify the number. I was hoping you may have an old phone book, or post card or some information with the number of the hotel. The number displayed on the card is EDgewater 4- 2448. That number would equate to 334-2448.

If you can help me (without jumping through too many hoops) I would be very grateful.

Thank you.

Regards,

Dennis Markham

Unfortunately, I have no idea of its worth. That is a question for a dealer in ephemera. Good luck! It sounds great!

I have a much read copy of the September 1915 issue if Cartoons Magazine, the cover was done by William Donahey of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. The cover has a man in a stove top hat sinking in a field of wheat saying, "Good Night!" Billion Bushel Wheat Crop.
Is it worth anything? If so how would I go about selling it?
